Oct 1st show... reflection

I decided to start a science fiction series on my radio show from now on!!! It would be a story about a bunny robot in the future, and the setting will be the world of EVE. I got an amazing writer and sound effect techie to help me out. Let's see how it will all play out!!! Additionally, I wanna cast voice actors + actresses for my science fiction skits. Let me know if you are interested!

I was definitely a bit too sentimental during my show tonight. The songs I picked also reflected my mood. Well, I just think it is too sad that we all live in such a material world, and girls don't appreciate sincere lovers like they used to anymore. However, I still have faith because money really can't buy us love. My voice is little. Even if it only gets to one listener's heart to keep on having faith in love, I think it is worth all 3 hours of my show to broadcast true love to the world of eve. I am not afraid of being called the cheesy idealistic lame nut head DJ. What I am really afraid is to see people losing hopes.

  1. :).very nice post.as you can see i'm smiling.well, dont worry about being cheesy as long as you have cheesy listeners.some of us like to hear these things.some of us might not like it, or not admit we like it, some want to hear politics, religion and eve related topics.well... we got plenty of dj's covering that.after all, you said you want to get in touch with us on a personal, deeper level right? so keep up the cheesy topics.i had a great time on your show.as always... so....be back soon you cheesy idealistic lame nut DJ.

  3. Hey LamsterBunny, you're a funny one. There's no other DJ's like you (on any radio station) and you play the kind of music I wouldn't normally listen to. And that's exactly why I enjoy listening to your show.

The things you say, it's nice to know that there's still people that think that way. Living in cold, hard London, it's almost like there's no-one left with an optimistic outlook on life sometimes. I like knowing that somewhere out there in the big, wide world, is still someone like me who is stubbornly idealistic.

And I might not be a big hip hop fan in general but there's tracks I like in any style of music and you play some great ones. Also, I listen to most shows without being logged in to Eve or IRC so never assume there's people not enjoying your show just because they're not commenting!

I'll do you a deal, do your best to never lose your optimism and I'll do my best to never lose mine ;-)
