Nerdcore hip hop was definitely a new try for me! I really like MC Hawking. He is quite creative, and his lyrics are very clever. I recommend him to all my listeners. His songs really appealed to nerds like me who worships science. Definitely a Plus!

However, I was annoyed with some of the nerdcore hip hop artists who just yelled their feelings about twitter and not being able to get a girl because they are geeks in their songs. Not something I want to promote during my show. Definitely a big NEGATIVE sign.
Oh well, I am glad I tried new things! :D
On the other hand, I was really happy that I get to know couple of my listeners on a more personal level. Yes. One of the reasons I signed myself up to be a DJ on eve Radio is to meet more people that I would normally not interact in real life. I love the internet. A lot of people I know think talking to strangers on the internet is a sketchy thing. Well, I think I attract my own kind of people, and I have faith in my listeners that they are honest and true to themselves. Besides that, anonymity makes everything so much more exciting. hehe.
Dear my small number of fans,
Thank you for being you.
love,
LamsterBunny

Thoughts on 9/17/09 's show
I talked to a listener after my show last night. He thought the music I play was a bit more girly than usual. Well, hahaha, kind of true. Instead of playing Roxanne Roxanne by UTFO, I played The Real Roaxanne instead. Oh well, DJ gets moody, too.
I guess besides the technical difficulties I experienced in the beginning of my show (special thanks again to Dunewolf and DJ LMP), it went smoothly overall... well, if you don't count the number of times I tried to play Karma Chameleon... saying wok instead of rock... thinking that The Jimi Hendrix Experience is the name of the band instead of an album... The point is I can go on with the mistakes I made during the show for an hour, but I want to focus on what I can improve as a DJ.
1) Time to really move on from Grandmaster Flash and Run DMC to new nerdcore hip hop and rap (not Kanye West.. or anything Billboard top 20). I agreed with my listeners that while fuck the police is always going to be a classic, it is time to just let my old school street gangsta go to rest for a bit. Well. just for a week. I am still having my bling on. ($__$)v
2) Hip hop is not really eve players' type of music genre. I sometimes get a little caught up with what listeners said about me during the show in chat and lost confidence in my choice of my music. BAD! I know a lot of listeners are listening to me even though they are not in chat. I would not let anyone to bring me down, and I will continue to keep up a positive attitude and deliver good hip hop to the world of eve. I want to say thank you to those who sent me personal eve mails and encourage me. I really read them, and they mean a lot to me. I want to thank them for their supports. Thank you.
3) If you are still reading, HUG.
That was it for this week! More to come next week.
